Retrofit Installation Steps:

Step 1: Disassemble the Fan
- Disconnect the blower assembly power connector from the junction box/wiring panel.
- Remove the blower assembly using three screws.
- Unscrew the junction box/wire panel (one screw) and detach the duct connector.

Step 2: Prepare the Ceiling Opening
- Ensure the ceiling opening is expanded to 9” by 9”. Keep existing ductwork and wiring intact.
- Install additional wooden support beams above the ceiling opening to secure the metal housing in the next step.

Step 3: Install Housing
- Pull the wiring and duct into the metal housing, then insert the housing into the ceiling opening.

Step 4: Connect Ducting and Wiring
- Secure the housing flange with screws to the additional beams.
- Follow the wiring diagram to connect the wiring, reinstall the wire panel, and use foil tape to attach the ducting to the duct connector before reinserting it.

Step 5: Final Touches
- Reattach the blower assembly into the housing and fasten it with the three screws.
- Connect the power cable to the wire panel and attach the grille by pressing the torsion springs into their slots.
